DIY Resistance: 36 Ways to Fight Back!
Anthony Alvarado (Author) and Jason Leivian (owner of Floating World Comics) curated a group of artists to illustrate Alvarado's book, D.I.Y Resistance: 36 Way To Fight Back! (Seven Stories Press).
They asked the artists to draw a portrait of an iconic and inspiring person who demonstrated peaceful resistance and progress.
I drew gay activists, and the "Mayor of Castro Street," Harvey Milk. He was one of the first openly gay officials in the United States.
